RIKAI takes its name from the Japanese word 理解, meaning understanding.

RIKAI is a luxury menswear label shaped between New York and Tokyo and made in Japan. New York brings pace, utility, tension, and attitude. Tokyo brings restraint, precision, craft, and an instinct for detail. The brand is built in the space between those worlds, where classic menswear is reinterpreted through a modern lens.
Every RIKAI garment is made with a focus on material integrity, clean construction, and long-term wearability. We work with refined natural fibers, technical blends, Japanese textiles, and fabrics from respected mills in Italy and Japan, choosing each material for how it feels, how it wears, and how it supports the shape of the garment.
